The dates for the forthcoming time trial season in South Wales are available on the CTT South Wales District Website and information on the courses is available on there too.
The main local time trials are in the calendar above going from the PTW 2-up in March to the Triple Hill Climb in October. If there's any I've missed, or any you think other club members would be interested in riding, let me know and I'll add them to the calendar.
CTT Handbooks
These are essential for anyone even toying with the idea of entering some organsied events this season - it is difficult to get name s and addresses of organisers in other way, and the majority of events still rely on snail mail and cheques.
Club 10s
Dates for the club 10 miles TT starting at the layby 1 mile East of St Brides Major on the Wick Road - sign on by 18:45, start at 19:00. Remember, volunteers are essential for these events to run.

All the above are high profile events, and are really important for the club, so please volunteer to help out if you can - post a message on the board, or e-mail the event secretary to offer your services. If there are lots of volunteers, it means that some of our racers will get a ride in the OVW events.
Club Nights
8th April.
There is nothing in the diary but I need to get my Olympic ticket applications in before the deadline which is 11.59 pm Tuesday 26th April. Let's have a look at this application procedure together as a Club because we could do a group application. There are also Test Events in the new Velodrome on 17th to 19th February 2012 in London with our squad. Tickets for these events are on a first come - first served basis. Again a group might be an idea. Come for a chat.
15th April
Rob Powell is to talk us through the Arrangements for the 22nd May. This high profile event is part of our our 80th Year as a Club, the Welsh National Road Race, with HQ in the Ogmore Life Centre Ogmore Vale. You will all be involved so come along. As an additional incentive I have ordered a Birthday Cake so you can share my 65th birthday with me.
Friday 6th May
Talking birthdays again, tonight has been adopted by the Club Committee as our Official 80th Birthday party night. More details later but, put it in the diary. We could do with a Theme. What about alpaca black racing clothing and flat caps. Naff ? OK what about yellow lycra !
