Time Trials
The dates for the forthcoming time trial season in South Wales are available on the CTT South Wales District Website and information on the courses is available on there too.
Catching the attention from a planning point of view are the Port Talbot Wheelers 2-up 25 on Sunday 7th March (R25/24)and the PTW 4-up 25 on Thursday 17th June (R25/3H). We managed two teams of 4 in the latter last season - I'm sure we could get at least 2 teams this season, and hopefully 3 or 4 pairs for the 2-up.
Club 10s
Dates for the club 10 miles TT staring at the layby 1 mile East of St Brides Major on the Wick Road - sign on by 18:45, start at 19:00. Remember, volunteers are essential for these events to run.

CTT Handbooks
These are essential for anyone even toying with the idea of entering some organsied events this season - it is difficult to get name s and addresses of organisers in other way, and the majority of events still rely on snail mail and cheques.
Magic Dragon
There are only 7 events this season instead of the eight last year - and the first one coincides with the Mallorca trip, so it might be tight for some of us to get five rides. The dates and other information are on the WCA website

All the above are high profile events, and are really important for the club, so please volunteer to help out if you can - post a message on the board, or e-mail the event secretary to offer your services. If there are lots of volunteers, it means that some of our racers will get a ride in the OVW events.
Sportives
Our local sportive is the Dragon Ride, and is on Sunday 6th June - 117 mile version, or 80 mile version or even 30 mile version. Booking opens midnight 27th/28th December via the event website
I don't have othere dates yet for Forest of Dean Classic or Tour of the Black Mountains, but will post them in due course - if anybody has more sportives they'd like to push, let me know.
